When planning the event, McKenzie worked Closely with Kimberly Anderson, Organizational Specialist at National Education Association (NEA). Edinboro was happy to welcome Anderson to the event!
Amanda Johnson, NW Region vice president, and McKenzie guided discussion before and after the showing.
Terms surrounding the topic of gender were displayed on the screen before the documentary to allow attendants to feel more comfortable during the discussion and take time to read some terms they may not be comfortable using or were not familiar with.
About 50 members and nonmembers attended the event.
